Usagi no Fuyu

  It's lovely, this cold. The sunlight causes the snow to come alive in little glittering dots, and the icicles seem to glow from the inside like countless slender lightbulbs.
  Winter gets such a bad rep, but it is my absolute favorite time. The air is clean, pure, delicious. It's a comforting feeling, to be in a warm room, baking sweet things, looking out into the bright chill. I love the sensation of being wrapped in warm clothes, topped with a big coat and scarf, and stepping out into the freezing outdoors. The contrast in temperatures is so pleasant.
  What a wonderful thing winter is! A constant combination of hot and cold, hot and cold; it's invigorating, energizing. 
  I love the kori, tsurara, yuki--I love the fuyu.
